My name is Mariela. My husband and daughter moved to Victoria last year from Paris France. We were lucky enough to have a friend who told us about how good Wally was at his job. So when we wanted to know more about how the process of buying a home was here in Canada, we decided to give him a call. A proven professional, Wally has consistently maintained a healthy balance in both his business and personal life.  Born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, he left an accounting career path behind, completed his real estate licensing requirements in the fall of 1977 and at 23 years of age, began his real estate career. It was a great fit for him as he quickly progressed to becoming one of the top REALTORS® in the city.

A few years later however, a trip to the west coast in December would prove to have a profound effect on the direction of his future. 

The experience of that trip never left him.  Wally would spend ten more years in Winnipeg before he finally decided to leave his beloved city, and move to Vancouver Island to continue his career in Victoria, BC where once again he re-established himself as one of Victoria's premier real estate professionals.

Recently, they both traveled to Japan and plan to return to this beautiful land again in the near future.

Wally has a son, Brandon and a daughter Jamie who recently graduated from high school.  Both his kids are now finding their way through the next stages of life.  As a dad, he is fiercely proud of who they have become as young adults and looks forward to sharing the journey of life with them as they establish their careers and contribute to society in their own personal way.
